When running the Salmon Tract Agricultural Systems Model (STASM), which I recently posted online, I get different results between the Netsim model (online) and the STELLA model run from my computer. I downloaded the model, I posted online and am able to get the same results as before I posted it online, but for some reason though the Netsim version gives different results. When run under the exact same conditions, online model results in an agricultural profit nearly double that of the STELLA model. Why would this happen, and is there a way to fix it? |

Hi David. I downloaded the model and see the difference as well when I run in STELLA. I am trying to track down what may be causing the difference, but it is a bit of a mystery.

The problem was that some dials had a default setting in STELLA of 0, even though that option was not available. Therefore in Netsim automatically set the value at 1, even though the dial did not show a 1. |
