I am an Assistant Professor at Radboud University (Nijmegen, The Nederlands) active in the field of Organisational Learning. I research whether people learn from simulation models, mainly System Dynamics models. I have experience in developing such models through participatory and non-participatory processes. Throughout my research, I have developed a special interest in system archetypes (i.e., generic model structures). In the end, I want to "measure” learning-effects (in the broadest sense) from processes aimed at enhancing learning from simulation models (through experiments). The results from these experiments allow me to formulate guidelines for improving future learning from simulation models.
