There are two ways you can play the Salt Seller: A Commodity Pricing Simulation: 1) as an Individual, or 2) as part of a Class. The decisions, information available, and underlying simulation are the same no matter which way you choose to play. However, when playing as an Individual, you have control over a number of market conditions which may be changed to alter the simulated scenario. When playing as part of a Class, the faculty member has control over the market conditions under which you will play the simulation. Additionally, the faculty member may view the results of your simulation.

  • To Play as an Individual, simply select "Play as an Individual" in the Play section, enter a Screen ID and hit Submit.
  • To Play as part of a Class, select "Play as part of Class" in the Play section, enter a Screen ID and Class Code (you will need a Class Code from your professor) and hit Submit.

Good Luck as a CEO in the Salt industry.
