Leadership and Teamwork Everest Simulation

In this multiplayer game from Harvard Business School, players explore teamwork, communication, and leadership in the context of climbing Mount Everest. Players must effectively distribute supplies and information needed for the ascent — testing skills such as conflict resolution, group decision-making, and communication.

Change Management Simulation Power and Influence

Participants play one of two change agents — a CEO or Director of Product Innovation — at a sunglass manufacturing company. They will face the challenge of implementing an organization-wide change initiative. Gain experience with enforcing organizational change, working under urgency, and managing technical, political, and cultural credibility.

Leadership and Teamwork Design Thinking Simulation

In the Design Thinking Simulation that Forio developed with Harvard Business School, participants try to run a successful food truck business. Teams manage their food truck business and experiment by offering a minimum viable product with several service offerings and in various locations.

Supply Chain Management Beer Game

MIT's classic systems thinking simulation, the Beer Game, is one of the most widely used management simulations. Play one of four roles in a dynamic supply chain for beer distribution as you and your partner manage the incoming and outgoing supply for your customer. Everyone is part of a team, and what matters is the performance of the whole chain. It's not bad apples, it's bad barrels.

Testimonials

I LOVED the simulations. I liked that we got to be both the customer and the rep, and also that we got feedback on role played coaching.
The simulations were by far the most valuable exercises for me throughout the training. It was great to practice what we learned in real-time, get feedback, and have a chance to learn from our peers. This also gave me a great appreciation for what our front-line teams do every day!
Forio's web technology allowed us to build a complex simulation and deploy it to hundreds of users throughout our organization, something that would not have been possible with desktop simulation packages.
We've worked with Forio as we have continued to enhance our simulation over many years. Their people, products and their process are impressive and have been instrumental in helping our employees develop their skills and knowledge.
