Can sliders be chained?

I’d like to allocate a resource across 5 categories, with the total never being greater than 100%. For example, the R&D budget might be allocated across 5 initiatives, and the allocation could be adjusted each period. I’ve done this with linked sliders in Sable and Stella - what is the best way to do this?
