Error after change the Vensim model

Hi to everybody,
I have to change an equation in a simulation model made with VENSIM. However when I try to substitute the model with a new one the simulation doesn’t work anymore (nor with the old neither with the new one). There is a way to maintain the interface built changing the model file?

Hi Simone,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

When a model has been updated & re-uploaded back to an Epicenter project’s Model page, the following steps need to be completed…

  1. Delete the existing *.ctx2 file located in the Epicenter Project’s Model page;
    then launch the Interface Builder to create/replace with a new *.ctx2 file in the Model page

  2. Confirm that the updated variables are now found in the the project’s
    Interface Builder: Global Settings / Model Settings page
