Again, I am having the problem that Forio platform is over-counting the cells that I am using. Over a week ago I restarted the entire project from 0 which meant redesigning the entire interface. As I worked through it, I noticed some erroneous calculations. I corrected and re-uploaded the xlxs sheet AFTER deleting the ctg file (which I was told to do in a previous discussion - delete the ctg and re-upload). Now I get a message that I have too many cells (untrue) and my re-designed interface that was almost complete, no longer recognizes the range names or any variable for that matter.
Project indicating 41000 cells (Excel) when I have less than 1600
I think I may have found the answer to my own question. Prior to uploading the xlxs into Forio, I had been working online with Google Docs. When I re-saved, somehow the worksheet/workbook was expanded because I was working via the ‘cloud’. I have since deleted that xlxs copy, resaved simply from Excel and re-uploaded that clean xlxs workbook. The error message has disappeared, the variables are now linking correcting in the interface and the simulation is working normally without any suggestion that I have surpassed the cell limit. What a relief.
