AFTER Updating & Re-uploading your Model, PLEASE do the following....

Whenever you update & re-upload the same model to your Epicenter project’s Model page, you will need to do the following…

  1. Delete the existing *.ctx2 file located in your Epicenter Project’s Model page; launch the Interface Builder to create a new *.ctx2 file in the Model page

  2. Confirm the updated variables are found in the your project’s Interface Builder: Global Settings / Model Settings page

If I am using Excel, can I change the range names and have the decision variables recognize the new names? Or will that cause an error?

Important:
It’s always good to make a backup of your project.
Goto your Project page and located at the bottom right of that page, there’s a ‘File Transfer’ section.
Select '‘Download Entire Project’, which will download your model & associated project folders & files in a zip file.

To update your project with the new Excel model (or any model types) with updated variables

If the new model file name is the same as the original model file name, then it will ask if you want to replace it.
Also, there’s a 3-vertical-dots menu which allows you to ‘Rename’ the model file.
  3. Goto the Interface Builder / Global Settings / Model Settings
  4. Under Model File, re-select from the drop-down menu the uploaded model name (from Step 2)
