December 17: Bay Area Julia Users Meetup
Join us for the next Bay Area Julia Users Meetup, Thursday December 17 at 6:30pm at Forio’s offices in San Francisco.
Ehsan Totoni, a Research Scientist at Intel Labs, will present the ParallelAccelerator. The ParallelAccelerator is a compiler that performs aggressive analysis and optimization on top of the Julia compiler. It can automatically eliminate overheads such as array bounds checking safely, and parallelize and vectorize many data-parallel operations. He will describe how it works, give examples, list current limitations, and discuss future directions of the package.
Special thanks to Christian Peel for organizing. As usual, there will be some food and beverages to share. We hope you can join us!
