Time Requirement
The Story
In this five-year simulation, learners run a fast-fashion company, making decisions on design, manufacturing, and retail to improve its circularity and profitability. They start by choosing a product line.
Each year, participants select circular initiatives across the value chain, deciding how much to invest in training and R&D. They then receive feedback on the company’s performance in circularity, waste, emissions, and profit. Learners find that while new business models can create revenue, maintaining profitability during a shift toward circularity is a significant challenge. The principles they learn can be applied to any industry aiming to reduce waste.
Facilitators can enable an AI-powered feature that provides personalized, constructive feedback on the participants’ reasoning for each decision. This promotes critical thinking and creates a record of their rationale.
