The Business Essentials Simulation: Coffee Shop Inc. is a three-level interactive experience that builds practical skills in business strategy and management. Learners operate a growing coffee shop business, making interconnected decisions in marketing, operations, human resources, and finance as they expand from a single location to an international chain. Each decision—on pricing, staffing, product mix, or investment—shapes customer and employee satisfaction, driving sales, costs, and profits. Through iterative rounds of play and guided debriefs, participants practice designing coherent strategies, interpreting financial and performance data, and adapting to shifting market and environmental trends.
