Join Forio at the 2017 System Dynamics Conference, July 17–20 in Cambridge, MA! System dynamics helps analyze dynamically complex economic, social, and environmental issues. The annual conference brings together people from around the world to share important research and application results and to build the community of those active in the field.
There are several opportunities to meet Forio throughout the conference.
Booth: Forio will have a booth at the conference open from 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern. Monday, July 17 through Wednesday, July 19.
User Group: On Wednesday, July 19 at 1:30 pm, at Forio is hosting a Demonstration and Users’ Group Meeting for Forio’s platform.
Workshop: On Thursday, July 20 at 8:30 am, Forio is hosting a workshop, Creating Interactive Simulations Online with Forio Epicenter, led by Michael Bean.
Forio Epicenter allows you to create an interface so users can interact with your model online. Powersim, Vensim, iThink and other system dynamics languages for simulation are supported on Epicenter. Forio can host your simulation for you, and the platform also has the ability to integrate with your existing IT infrastructure, making it enterprise-compatible. Forio Epicenter includes a tiered control for tens or thousands of users. During this workshop, we will start with an introduction to Epicenter and sample interactive online models. Then we’ll divide the workshop into two parts. In the first part, we will teach you how to get your model on Epicenter so it can be shared. In the second part, we’ll focus on creating a user interface for your model.
