Simulation Overview

Learners dive into the role of the CEO of Ecotripp, an online travel agency experiencing exponential growth. The simulation provides participants with an opportunity to experiment with different organizational structures in order to help their company move successfully to the next phase.

In this single player asynchronous simulation, the participants have to decide which changes to make based on the seven dimensions of organizational structure: work specialization, departmentalization, chain of command, span of control, centralization and decentralization, formalization, and boundary spanning. This simulation focuses on organizational design, strategy, human resource management, general management, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
