2015 has been quite the year at Forio!

Together, we:

• Added seven new simulations to our Sim Store, including:
  • Organizational Behavior: Judgment in a Crisis
  • Salt Seller: Commodity Pricing Simulation
  • Fishbanks: Renewable Resource Management Simulation
  • Eclipsing the Competition: Solar PV Industry Simulation
  • Platform Wars: Simulating the Battle for Video Game Supremacy
  • CleanStart: Simulating a Clean Energy Startup
  • Coffee Trade: A Contract Negotiation Game

• Continued to expand our platform, Epicenter, including adding support for R models and multiplayer games

• Featured one of our simulations in the first ever student competition among NASPAA member institutions

• Released version 1.0 of our JavaScript visualization library, Contour

• Were honored with four awards for our work, including:
  • Serious Play Awards, Bronze in the Corporate category, for Organizational Behavior
  • SIIA CODiE Awards, Finalist for the Best Game-Based Curriculum Solution, for Change Management
  • Best of Elearning, Award of Excellence in the Simulation category, for our platform Epicenter (download the Dec/Jan 2016 issue for full list of winners)
  • Reimagine Education STARS Awards, Silver in both the Hybrid Learning and the Social Sciences & MBA categories, for Looking Glass, an Alternate Reality Teaching (ART) experience
